Model Number: JM10-120 Brand Name: SASUN Key Specifications/Special Features: IPC-insulation piercing connector(1) IPC ( insulating piercing clamp) Tin plated pure copper alloy blades imbedded in molded plastic and surrounded with a sealing compound insure electrical contact in 1Kv or 10Kv overhead distribution networks. A single or double torque-control nut draw the two halves of the connector together and shears off when the teeth have pierced the insulation and made contact with the conductor strands. The mechanical strength of the connection is in accordance with the tensile requirements of ANSI class3 or NF (French standards) C33020 while the electrical performance meets or exceeds the test outlined in ANSIC119.4 class or NFC33004. The dielectric and waterproof tests are to the rigid standard of NF 33020 and corrosion test per NFC33003. The end cap is attached to the connector assembly and provide end cable sealing for tap or splice applications. The installed end caps have been tested for dielectric strength and resist 6Kv for one minute.Performance: (1) Electric performance, expanded wire range. Rate of the resistance is lower than 2.5.(2) Mechanical performance: The connector has no crack when the lead is broken by pulling.(3)Temperature rise performance: under the condition of big current, the temperature rise of connector is less than that of connection lead.(4) Heat circle performance: 200times per second, 100A/mm2 big current overload, the change of connection resistance is less than 5%.

(5) Water proof performance: resistant to 6Kv 1 minute after 30 minutes immersion in water (only for waterproof frame).

(6) Resistance to corrosion performance: under the condition of S02 and salt fog the connector can do three times of 14 days circle testing.

(7) Environment aging performance: under the circumstance of ultraviolet radiation, dry and moist, expose it with change of temperature and heat impulse for 6weeks.
