We are very skilled at accommodating our customers' unique requirements. In fact, we are the only Shanghai Volkswagen-certified miniature auto lamp manufacturer in mainland China. GE is another of our main OEM clients, so you know that our quality standards are high. We source key components from Germany and Japan - 30 percent of the filaments and 40 percent of the bases we use are made in Japan.
More than $8 million invested in three factories
Our first factory was built in Taipei, Taiwan in 1973. The second factory was built 1991 in Shanghai, mainland China. Shanghai Prosperity is a join venture between Taiwan Prosperity and a Germany company WS Walter Schrickel GmbH. Since then our production activities have been transferred from Taipei to Shanghai. 2008 we invested the third factory in Xuzhou, China. In 2004, we expanded production to include HID auto headlights. With $8 million invested, our TS 16949-certified facilities are 60 percent automated, 20 percent semi-automated, and 20 percent manual.
Guaranteed delivery and an increasing capacity
Delivery is guaranteed in 60 days, but shorter times are negotiable. Currently, we employ over 450 people and have a production capacity of 90 million lamps per year.
